Privacy Policy

Most of your work never leaves your computer

Formatters, calculators, image editors, PDF tools, password generators, and similar utilities do their work inside the browser tab you already have open. The file or paragraph you drop in is processed on your device. We do not receive a copy, and we do not keep a library of what you created. When you close the tab, that working copy is gone.

A few tools remember something only on your own device, such as the light or dark theme you picked, or a note you chose to save in a specific tool. That information sits in your browser storage. It is not sent to us as a profile.

A few tools have to ask the network a question

Some checks cannot be finished inside the browser alone. If you use a page checker, a sitemap checker, or a similar SEO tool, the public web address you type is sent to our server so we can open that page and report what we find. Network tools work the same way with a domain name, an IP address, or a port number. The temperature checker sends the coordinates of the place you look up so a weather service can answer.

Those requests exist only to complete the lookup you asked for. We do not build a customer file from them, and we do not attach them to your name, because we never asked for your name. The company that hosts the website may keep short technical logs, such as the time of a request, so the site can stay online and block misuse. Those logs are not a mailing list.

Please use the lookup tools on sites and servers you are allowed to check. Do not paste private documents into a tool that sends an address to the network. If a tool runs entirely in the browser, the page says so by doing the work without a lookup.

What we do not do

• We do not require an account, a phone number, or a payment card.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade information about visitors.
• We do not run advertising trackers or build an advertising profile of you.
• We do not ask you to upload files to our servers for the browser-based tools.

Email you send us

If you write to freetoolsvault@gmail.com, we will read that message so we can reply. It will include whatever you chose to put in it, such as your email address and a description of a problem. We use it to answer you, not to sign you up for a newsletter.

Children

The tools are general utilities. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, write to us and we will delete that message.

Changes to this page

If the way the site handles information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. The current version is the one published here.
